Senior Tax Manager
Our Langley office is seeking a hardworking Senior Tax Manager. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will be responsible for managing and providing technical leadership to our tax specialists, planning, organizing and executing various engagements for clients, building and maintaining effective client relationships and continuously exceeding client expectations. You will thrive in a teamwork environment, have excellent time management skills and demonstrate the ability to delegate work as appropriate. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience following completion of the CICA In-Depth tax courses, excellent relationship building skills and effective communication skills. Those with a legal degree and similar skills and experience will also be considered
CA/CGA Manager
We're looking for a senior accountant who has audit experience (who isn't?)
Like the tax person we're looking for, this would be someone who can work through most engagements on their own and is confident in their knowledge and skills.
You would be a CA or CGA and have a taste for audits and reviews even though most of the time, you would be working on Notice to Readers and tax returns.
A basic job description would look like this:
· Prepare Notice to Reader, Review Engagement and Audited financial statements
· Prepare corporation income tax returns
· Prepare personal tax returns
· Provide consultations to clients on various accounting, payroll, PST and GST and
similar matters
· Manage/Mentor our CA and CGA students
